Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco – In a continuous effort to safeguard the community, the Puerto Vallarta Civil Protection and Fire Department has completed an intensive four-day training program aimed at enhancing its operational capabilities. Led by specialists from “Angels for Mexico” and “Red Dear Emergency,” the course covered multiple critical response scenarios, reflecting the institution’s ongoing commitment to the safety and well-being of local residents.
Under the guidance of Director Ing. Misael López Muro, participants engaged in practical exercises that included firefighting techniques, vehicle stabilization, rappelling, extraction, and self-rescue. These realistic drills were designed to challenge the department’s personnel, ensuring they remain prepared to face emergencies efficiently and effectively.
Director López Muro emphasized that this specialized instruction—carried out under the directive of Mayor Luis Munguía—is crucial for maintaining a state of readiness. “Through this training, our department is better equipped to handle the diverse range of scenarios we encounter,” he stated. “It’s our priority to continually improve our knowledge and skills so that the community can rely on us in times of need.”
