Renowned for its international cuisine and flavors, Puerto Vallarta will host its second annual ‘Ceviche and Aguachile Festival’ on Sunday, January 24, in Parque Lazaro Cardenas from 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
This year the festival is expected to welcome 1500 visitors to try different styles of ceviche, a dish that has become a tradition in Puerto Vallarta. The regional recipe can be a little different than other regions, with a typical Vallarta ceviche including carrots, cucumber, and cilantro.
Aguachile is another dish that participating restaurants will be offering at around $15 pesos each. El Coleguita, Mauricio’s, Swell Beach Bar, La Tìa, Cuates y Cuetes, Happy Burros, Cheeky Monkey, and others will be participating in the festival, according to organizers.
The festival is a family event to include entertainment and sponsored by the City Tourism Department and the Vallarta Institute of Culture.
