The event is set for Saturday, Dec. 20, with Bomberos y Paramédicos SMA teaming up with The Mob Wagen, a local Volkswagen car club, to drive a festive route through key corridors of the city. It’s designed as a free, family-friendly pass-through. Think holiday lights, decorated vehicles, and a moving “hello” from the first responders who spend most nights racing the other direction.
For many expats, it’s also a rare chance to see the community side of an emergency service you usually only notice in a crisis.
