Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, August 3, 2026 – Puerto Vallarta is scheduled to receive six international cruise ship arrivals during August, including a double-ship visit on Tuesday that will open the month’s cruise activity.
The schedule, published by the Administration of the National Port System of Puerto Vallarta, includes five arrival dates. The port authority last updated the calendar on July 31 and notes that the schedule remains subject to change.
The first August call will bring both the Carnival Panorama and Navigator of the Seas to Puerto Vallarta on August 4. The Navigator of the Seas is scheduled to return on August 11 and August 18.
The Carnival Panorama will make another visit on August 20, followed by the Crystal Symphony on August 28.
The six scheduled calls will bring the number of cruise arrivals recorded or expected in Puerto Vallarta during 2026 to 95. That is one fewer than the 96 arrivals recorded during the same period last year.
August’s schedule represents a recovery from the unusually quiet summer pattern seen in recent months. Puerto Vallarta had four scheduled cruise calls in both June and July, with the latter schedule ending with a double arrival on July 21, as Vallarta Daily previously reported.
The August activity is spread across the month rather than concentrated in a single week. The busiest day will be August 4, when two large ships are expected at the terminal at the same time. That could create a noticeable increase in passenger movement around the port, transportation corridors, excursion departures, and downtown commercial areas.
The port’s schedule also shows the seasonal nature of cruise traffic in Puerto Vallarta. August remains part of the slower summer period, when the destination receives fewer calls than during the busier winter and spring months. The schedule is expected to strengthen later in September, with 10 arrivals currently reported as planned.
Cruise calendars can change because of weather, operational issues, itinerary adjustments, or decisions by individual cruise lines. Travelers and businesses tracking a specific ship should confirm its status with the cruise line or consult the port authority’s latest calendar before making plans.
