150 cruises will arrive in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, during this season that started on October 1st with the arrival of the Island Princess.
The cycle, which will run until May 5, 2019, will generate revenues in the city of $782 million Mexican pesos, only considering the purchases and services of tourists while on land visits in Puerto Vallarta.
On average, according to a communiqué from the Tourism Trust of that municipality, cruise passengers spend about $98 on average, while crew members spend about $65.
The season will be boosted, starting in February, with the start of the Magellan cruise that will make a route through Mexico, taking 1,400 tourists per trip.
