Puerto Vallarta (PVDN) – An individual on a motorcycle managed to abscond with approximately 100,000 pesos stolen from employees of a poultry sales company.
The incident transpired on Thursday afternoon, involving two female employees from the Pollo Feliz company. A man approached them, demanding their day’s sales proceeds that they had collected from multiple city outlets.
Left with no option to prevent the robbery, the victims handed over their cash, which totaled somewhere between 93,000 and 100,000 pesos. The robbery took place in the Villa las Flores neighborhood.
The employees were returning from a money collection round at the Ixtapa branch when the robber intercepted them, seizing the opportunity to snatch the cash.
Following the incident, the women promptly alerted the Municipal Police. A search operation was initiated immediately, but authorities were unable to locate the perpetrator.
Last week, two individuals who were allegedly armed with a knife, stripped a woman of 47,000 pesos in cash in a well-known commercial plaza in Puerto Vallarta.
It was announced that the agents were informed of the crime and went to the scene to verify the report.
The uniformed officers were informed that an armed robbery had been registered at Macroplaza Puerto Vallarta, located on Francisco Villa and González Gallo avenues.
The woman pointed out that she had gone to the Santander bank located on Exiquio Corona and Revolución Street in Bobadilla, where she withdrew the amount of $47,000 pesos and then left the bank, took a bus and headed towards the shopping mall.
She said that when she got off the bus, the two subjects threatened her and later took the money and fled the scene.
The agents implemented an operation in the area but were unable to find any of those responsible, who by that time had already taken advantage of the time in which the woman took to report the facts, with the security officers of the square.
