Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – As April unfolds, Puerto Vallarta prepares to welcome a flurry of international cruise ships, with 23 scheduled arrivals throughout the month. The details, as outlined in the monthly calendar of the National Port System (ASIPONA) for the city, highlight a busy period for maritime tourism in the region.
The month commenced with the arrival of a cruise ship on Monday, signaling the start of a bustling period for the city’s port. Notably, on April 4th and 6th, the city will witness double arrivals, with Carnival Panorama and Ruby Princess docking on the former date, and MSC Explora 1 alongside Zaadam on the latter. Notably, Zaadam is set to spend the night, extending its stay until dawn on Sunday, April 7th.
Continuing the trend, April 9th and 10th will see solo arrivals by Volendam and Discovery Princess, respectively, setting the stage for a significant event on the 16th. This date marks the first triple arrival of the month, with Zaadam, Navigator Of The Seas, and Carnival Panorama gracing the city’s port.
On April 17th, Discovery Princess will make its solitary appearance, followed by the second triple arrival on Friday, April 19th. The lineup for this event includes Niuew Amsterdam, Radiance Of The Seas, and the Norwegian Encore, promising a vibrant atmosphere in the port.
The month draws to a close with double arrivals on April 23rd, 24th, and 30th. Navigator Of The Seas and Carnival Panorama will dock first, followed by Disney Wonder and Eurodam, and concluding with Silver Nova and once again, Carnival Panorama.
Emphasizing the importance of safety and protocol, each ship’s arrival will be closely overseen by the authorities of the Port Community. Their presence ensures the meticulous verification of documents for both the cruise ships and their passengers, safeguarding the well-being of all involved – from the maritime-port community to the residents of Puerto Vallarta.
As the city gears up to host this influx of visitors, Puerto Vallarta remains a beacon for maritime tourism, offering a warm welcome to all who arrive on its shores.
