Authorities Intensify Search Efforts for Teen Missing in Puerto Vallarta Waters

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Local, state, and federal authorities are conducting an extensive search for a 16-year-old boy from Los Altos de Jalisco, who disappeared Monday afternoon in Puerto Vallarta’s polluted Holy Beach waters. The minor entered the sea to rescue his younger sister, but both siblings were quickly swept up by a dangerous rip current. While a bystander was able to save the girl, the young man was pulled farther out and has not been seen since.
