Gala Puerto Vallarta – Riviera Nayarit 2025 Set to Attract Major Tourism Partners

The Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust is gearing up for one of the region’s most significant tourism gatherings of the year: the Gala Puerto Vallarta – Riviera Nayarit 2025, taking place on March 20 and 21. This influential event will bring together more than 90 wholesale agencies, 60 hosted buyers, 115 hotels, and numerous industry heavyweights—ranging from local and international airlines to key tourism trusts in Jalisco and Nayarit.

Although the main venue this year will be in neighboring Nayarit, Puerto Vallarta itself will host a large number of attendees, with some scheduled events taking place within Jalisco’s borders. One highlight on the schedule is the “Spring Night Party” welcome cocktail gathering, which will be held on March 19 at 7:00 p.m. in Plaza Lázaro Cárdenas (known locally as Parque de los Azulejos). This event will officially kick off the festivities and networking opportunities that the Gala is known to offer.

Now in its 14th year, Gala Puerto Vallarta – Riviera Nayarit continues to reinforce its status as the region’s premier tourism event, cultivating vital partnerships and marketing strategies aimed at boosting Puerto Vallarta’s presence on both national and international levels. Municipal and state authorities, consular agents, local chamber representatives, and members of the hotel and tourism sector will also be in attendance, underscoring the importance of this annual gathering.

This year’s edition will feature several notable guests and collaborations, including:

  • Tourism Trusts from Guadalajara and Costalegre
  • 15 “Pueblos Mágicos” (magical towns) from Jalisco and Nayarit
  • Specialized media outlets, both national and international
  • Executives from the Puerto Vallarta and Tepic airports
  • Representatives of CONEXSTUR (National Council of Tourism Services Exporters) and other inbound tour operators

The event’s nearly 1,500 business meetings are poised to generate competitive rates and secure hotel inventory sales, potentially boosting occupancy and overall tourism revenue in the coming seasons. Last year, the region saw an economic impact of $40.791 billion pesos, a figure that organizers hope to surpass by drawing even more partners and attendees to this year’s festivities.

Additionally, 60 media outlets—regional, national, and international—will be covering the event, which is expected to raise Puerto Vallarta’s profile on the global stage. As in previous years, the rich variety of local hotel products, cultural events, and recreational experiences is key to repeat visits and long-term growth.

The Gala underscores the ongoing commitment of the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust and the Nayarit State Tourism Secretariat to strengthen ties across the region. By uniting hotels, tour operators, airlines, and local authorities, the event sets the course for forthcoming seasons, establishing strategies that ensure Puerto Vallarta’s continued success and development within Mexico’s growing tourism industry.
