Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Sept. 22, 2026 — SEAPAL will suspend water service in Las Juntas for six hours Tuesday while crews replace two isolation valves.
Work is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. near Aquiles Serdán and Francisco Javier Mujica streets, according to an official notice issued by SEAPAL.
SEAPAL advised Las Juntas residents to store enough water before the interruption and limit unnecessary use during the work.
How the shutoff affects Las Juntas
The interruption covers the midday period, affecting homes and businesses during regular working and school hours.
Households without a storage tank or cistern will need water for drinking, cooking, and sanitation. Restaurants and other businesses that depend on running water should also prepare before 10 a.m.
We reviewed SEAPAL’s notice, which identifies the Las Juntas delegation as the affected area. Aquiles Serdán and Francisco Javier Mujica are listed as work locations, not the only streets subject to interrupted service.

SEAPAL said crews will replace two isolation valves as part of work to modernize the area’s water infrastructure.
The Las Juntas project follows a seven-hour scheduled water interruption on Sept. 9. That separate project affected La Mina I, La Mina II, 1 de Mayo and Marina Vallarta.
SEAPAL’s announced work period in Las Juntas ends at 4 p.m. Residents whose service remains interrupted after the scheduled window may contact the utility through its official reporting channels.
