Puerto Vallarta International Airport began Sunday with scheduled commercial service operating and no airport-wide closure or suspension visible on the public boards reviewed.
Aeroméxico flight AM331 to Mexico City departed at 6:16 a.m. The live PVR flight tracker showed the next inbound flight, Viva Aerobus VB1166 from Mexico City, en route for a morning arrival.
The early schedule included domestic service connecting Puerto Vallarta with Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Aguascalientes, San Luis Potosí and other regional airports. International arrivals were scheduled from Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Denver, Atlanta and Los Angeles.
No flight on the reviewed PVR board was clearly marked canceled at the check time. No flight-specific delay was independently verified.
American Airlines flight AA1114 from Dallas-Fort Worth was listed as on time on its individual flight-status page, while a separate airport operating monitor rated PVR’s overall delay level as very low.

The airport terminal forecast issued at approximately 5:20 a.m. called for scattered clouds during the morning, with cumulonimbus clouds possible around midday. Rain was forecast near the airport by midafternoon, with a chance of showers into the evening.
