A young man, approximately 20 years of age, was taken in serious condition to a private hospital after being run over by a public transport bus in Puerto Vallarta.
Municipal Police personnel reported that the accident occurred at 10:23 hours, at the intersection of Sinaloa and 16 de Septiembre.
Witnesses told authorities that the city bus was traveling at high speed and, apparently, ran out of control, running over the young man as he was crossing the street.
After the accident, the driver of the unit stopped at the scene and dialed 911, as did the witnesses.
