Ensenada, Baja California — The heart of Baja California’s wine country will come alive this Sunday, July 20, as the Valle, Wine and Brew Fest takes over the Ojo Azul Resort and Alma Tierra restaurant. This standout event, part of the larger “Viñadas 2025” initiative, aims to spotlight the region’s rich tradition of winemaking, craft brewing, and culinary excellence.

Organized by the Valle de Guadalupe Entrepreneurs Association (EDVG), the event will feature over 30 local exhibitors including renowned wineries, craft breweries, and innovative restaurants, making it one of the most anticipated gatherings of the summer.

“This is more than just a festival,” said Marco Antonio Estudillo Bernal, president of EDVG. “It’s a celebration of everything that makes Valle de Guadalupe a world-class destination — wine, beer, food, and hospitality. Our goal is to boost regional tourism while honoring the local producers who have built this reputation.”

A Showcase of Local Excellence

Visitors to the Valle, Wine and Brew Fest will enjoy offerings from some of Baja California’s most celebrated wineries. Confirmed participants include:

  • Barón Balché
  • Maglén
  • Xaroma

In the craft beer category, attendees can expect to sample creations from standout brewers such as Ruta 90.8 and Casa Luna, representing Baja’s fast-growing beer scene.

The culinary lineup is equally enticing. Esteemed chefs Alejandro Flores (of Alma Tierra and Ojo Azul) and Paco (from Blabaum and Cobardemx) will lead the charge, with participating restaurants including Jesusa, Samarin, Emat, and La Casita del Queso.

To round out the experience, live music will be performed by Hit Band, adding a festive and relaxed atmosphere to the valley’s scenic backdrop.

Ticket Information and Inclusions

Admission is just $200 pesos per person. Each ticket includes a welcome glass of wine and access to wine and food tastings from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. For those who want more, wine, beer, and gourmet dishes will be available for purchase throughout the event.

Organizers emphasize that the event is family-friendly and invites locals and tourists alike to experience the warmth and vibrancy of the Valle de Guadalupe community.

Viñadas 2025: A Broader Vision

The Valle, Wine and Brew Fest is just one of 12 events officially confirmed under the Viñadas 2025 program. This coordinated effort, led by EDVG in partnership with more than 200 local businesses, municipal and state governments, and tourism agencies, seeks to position Valle de Guadalupe as an international hub for enogastronomic tourism.

Estudillo Bernal highlighted that this year’s expanded calendar aims to not only attract more visitors, but also to drive sustainable growth for the community. “These events generate real impact for our local economy, from vineyard workers to chefs and artisans. It’s a complete ecosystem built on passion and quality.”
