Kicking off the weekend’s events, the second edition of the Sabor en Competencia cooking contest will take place on Friday, March 15, at 6 p.m. in Parque Hidalgo. This culinary challenge will see prominent chefs from prestigious local restaurants competing against the clock to prepare exceptional dishes in under an hour, utilizing ingredients sourced from local markets. The event is open to the public, offering free admission and the chance to taste the delectable dishes prepared by the chefs.

Inclusivity and Competition: Coconutz Puerto Vallarta 2024

In a historic first for Mexico, Puerto Vallarta will host the Coconutz Puerto Vallarta 2024, part of the Gay & Lesbian Tennis Alliance (GLTA) World Tour. This international tennis series, which includes stops in Europe, Asia, Australia, the United States, Canada, and South America, promotes inclusivity and competition. From March 14 to 17, the tennis courts of Parque Parota, situated in the bustling Hotel Zone, will be the venue for this momentous event. Spectators are welcome to attend free of charge and experience the excitement of the matches.

Athletic Endeavors: XI ACIR 5K/10K Athletic Race

Concluding the weekend’s activities, the eleventh edition of the ACIR Healthy Mode Athletic Race is scheduled for Sunday, March 17, starting at 8 a.m. This event invites athletes of all ages to participate in either the recreational 5K or the competitive 10K races, with categories available for both women and men. The race will commence and conclude at the “Agustín Flores Contreras” Sports Unit esplanade, situated opposite the Sheraton Buganvilias hotel.
