Puerto Vallarta to Host Gastronomic Festival “Flavors of Vallarta” on July 14

Puerto Vallarta, renowned for its vibrant culinary scene, is set to showcase its rich gastronomic heritage in the upcoming “Flavors of Vallarta” festival. Scheduled for Sunday, July 14, the event promises a delightful array of dishes in a welcoming family atmosphere.

The festival’s details were announced by Edgar Cisneros, the event’s coordinator, during a press conference attended by Martha Leticia Parra, President of Canirac, and Christian Preciado Cázares, Director of Municipal Tourism. The event will take place in Hidalgo Park from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., featuring 12 restaurants and 11 establishments specializing in beverages and desserts. Attendees can expect to be enchanted by a diverse selection of culinary delights designed to satisfy even the most discerning palates.

“Flavors of Vallarta is a gastronomic event that celebrates our city, the gastronomic diversity, the diversity of flavors that we have in Puerto Vallarta today,” said Edgar Cisneros.

The event is expected to draw approximately 2,500 attendees, offering an opportunity to savor a wide range of dishes, including seafood, grilled meats, pizzas, pastas, and more. The atmosphere will be family-friendly, with designated areas for both tourists and locals to enjoy the festival comfortably.

Seafood lovers will be particularly pleased, as the festival will feature an array of fresh seafood, ceviches, aguachiles, grilled seafood, oysters, and zarandeado fish—dishes that are quintessential to Vallarta’s beach culture. “We will also have meats, including Argentinean grill, Mexican grill, and American grill,” added Cisneros.

The pricing for dishes will range from 30 to 200 pesos, making the event accessible to a broad audience. In addition to the delectable food, the festival will offer spirit-based drinks such as Raicilla, craft beers, and a variety of desserts, ensuring a complete gastronomic experience.

The “Flavors of Vallarta” festival not only celebrates the city’s culinary diversity but also aims to strengthen the local food and beverage industry by bringing together a wide array of flavors and styles. It is an excellent opportunity for residents and visitors alike to indulge in the best of Puerto Vallarta’s cuisine in a lively and engaging setting.
