Puerto Vallarta Promotes Summer Vacations

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – In a series of successful training seminars across five major Mexican cities, the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust—together with the Jalisco Tourism Secretariat and the Guadalajara Convention and Visitors Bureau—highlighted the state’s diverse travel offerings to more than 200 travel advisors. The seminars, hosted in Aguascalientes, León, San Luis Potosí, Querétaro, and Morelia, aimed to promote Puerto Vallarta’s allure as a leading beach destination ahead of the upcoming summer season.

The events were organized by Naturleón, La Operadora, Grupo FPV, and Volaris, emphasizing destinations’ competitive advantages, hotel choices, culinary delights, and cultural activities. A key highlight was Puerto Vallarta’s direct air connections from the hosting cities, with flight options from Aguascalientes, El Bajío, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, and soon Morelia. Attendees also learned about new land charter packages, where reduced travel times have been made possible by the new Guadalajara–Puerto Vallarta highway.

Joining the Tourism Trust on this outreach were representatives from several hotels: Delfín, Grand Miramar, Puerto de Luna, Plaza Pelícanos, Rosita, El Pescador, Vamar, Hacienda Buenaventura, Buenaventura Grand, and Villa Premiere. Each property showcased its latest developments, demonstrating the wide range of lodging options available for all budgets—from all-inclusive family resorts to boutique accommodations.

Beyond the beaches, Puerto Vallarta also offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy natural attractions such as lush mountains, scenic bays, and countless outdoor activities. Seminar participants discovered the region’s rich calendar of events, unique excursions, and cultural experiences, including special promotions designed to entice travelers during the high season.

The coordinated effort also spotlighted the broader state of Jalisco. By partnering with the Jalisco Tourism Secretariat and the Guadalajara Convention and Visitors Bureau, organizers promoted itineraries that include visits to multiple destinations—cities, beaches, mountains, lakes, and magical towns—within a single trip. These actions aim to strengthen tourism ties from key markets across the country and solidify Puerto Vallarta’s position as one of Mexico’s preferred beach destinations.
