Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - After more than 40 hours of intense search efforts, the body of Karol André González López, a teenager who went missing on FIBBA beach in Nuevo Vallarta, Banderas Bay, was located on Sunday morning.
The tragic discovery was made several kilometers from the mouth of the Ameca River, near the beaches of Boca de Tomates in Marina Vallarta. Jalisco Civil Protection personnel spotted the floating body shortly after 10 a.m. and immediately coordinated its recovery.
