Las Terrazas 3 – Conchas Chinas

The essence and grandeur of a Hacienda in a boutique building located in Conchas Chinas is what Casa Contenta offers. One of only six homes in the building, the elevator opens to your own floor. Passing through the front door you experience the vast openness and the expanse of the views of the Bay of Banderas from the 2,000 sq. ft. terrace, featuring a covered conversation area, full wet bar, BBQ, outdoor dining and private heated pool with tumbled marble edging under a double-high brick archway. The interior of the main floor consists of a living room area, spacious dining room, stylish, gourmet kitchen with butler prep pantry, a guest suite with sitting area and en-suite full bath, work room, laundry facilities as well as staff quarters with full bath. The living and dining areas open to the terrace with floor-to-ceiling hardwood doors and windows bringing the outside in. Every attention to detail has been considered from the 3-tier cantera stone fountain that is featured at the entry, to the hand-milled cabinetry and hand-painted tile-work from Dolores Hidalgo in the kitchen.

Meander upstairs through the etched glass wave scene door and up the hardwood stairs with custom-designed tile risers, and you find yourself in the library and work center with built-in desk and casework. Surrounding this area are two guest bedrooms and a master. The master enjoys stunning ocean views and has a spa suite with Jacuzzi tub and shower for 2, with ocean view, separate basins, one with dressing table plus a bidet. The master closet is a marvel at over 400 sq. ft. and is fully dehumidified and air conditioned. The assortment of drawers, shelving and racks gives the sensation of a fine shop in your own home where you create your special wardrobe daily. One guest room is on the ocean side and has the same beautiful views as the master – even the shower has a view! The third bedroom has a jungle outlook and is overly spacious with a comfortable sitting area and a private terrace, along with a view to the ocean. Note the custom talavera pulls and hooks in all the baths as well as the closets with built-in drawers and shelving. It is these small details that make the difference in this home.

Additional amenities include: Mirage retractable screens and Hunter-Douglas blinds (some motorized) throughout, sound system for the deck area, secure entry (building entry cameras, intercom system, motion lighting on the deck), mini-split air conditioning in each room of the home, in-ceiling spots with dimmers throughout, and purified water in the kitchen.

Common area parking for one car is on a first-come first-served basis. This is a pet-friendly building. HOA dues are approximately $23,000 pesos/quarterly and includes the mozo three days a week, who tends to the plants — watering, fertilizing and fumigation — as well as cleaning and pH-balancing the pool.
