Summer welcomes sea turtles to the shores of Puerto Vallarta

As soon as the summer begins, Puerto Vallarta welcomes the visit of hundreds of turtles that come to spawn after having traveled thousands of kilometers in the Pacific.

The director of the Marine Turtle Protection Program, Ildefonso Ramos, reported that the turtles fulfill a life cycle when returning each year to these coasts, immediately the eggs are transferred to one of the two nests in the area, the small one with capacity for 100 nests, in the beach of Hotel Secrets, and the larger one at Playa del Holly that can receive almost 900 nests.
