The exotic property of Playa Escondida will be featured as the  primary location of ABC’s summer reality series Bachelor in Paradise. The romantic television event of the summer kicks off with a two-night event: Sunday, August 2, and Monday, August 3, 2015, at 8/7c on ABC.

From the creator of The Bachelor franchise, summer series Bachelor in Paradise features some of The Bachelor’s biggest stars and most talked about villains. For six weeks, the group will live together in Mexico in an isolated romantic paradise and, over the course of the season, these former bachelors and bachelorettes will explore new relationships, fall in love or go through renewed heartbreak. The romantic dating series will feature twists, shocking surprises, unexpected guests and some of the most unlikely relationships in Bachelor history, plus all the usual romance, drama and tears of the Bachelor franchise. It all comes together in the romantic television event of the summer.
ABOUT PLAYA ESCONDIDA
This hidden beach, a few coves south of Sayulita, is one of the secret gems of the Riviera Nayarit coast, and home to the exquisite, nature-inspired organic wonderland that is the Playa Escondida resort. It is a hotel without signage, without a map, one that has grown intuitively on its lush, beachfront site. The hotel’s unique rooms range from beachfront suites to studios tucked up amongst the trees in the jungle. They are rustic, but luxurious, detailed with authentic handcrafts and fine artworks to ground them in Mexico’s richly diverse and colorful culture, and furnished with a mix of handmade and classic furniture.
