Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Sept. 23, 2026 — Jalisco civil protection crews reached their regional bases in Puerto Vallarta and Cihuatlán Tuesday night ahead of possible effects from Hurricane Polo. The agency confirmed their arrival.
The state had sent more than 200 officers and 30 vehicles toward its two coastal bases. One group was assigned to Puerto Vallarta’s Regional Command No. 4; the other went to Cihuatlán.
