Puerto Vallarta, Mexico — The Employers' Confederation of the Mexican Republic (Coparmex), Vallarta Chapter, has called for enhanced preventive strategies, increased surveillance in key areas, and stronger community and business engagement to address a growing perception of insecurity in the city.
This appeal follows findings from the latest National Urban Public Security Survey (Ensu) conducted by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi), which revealed that the perception of insecurity in Puerto Vallarta rose from 21.3% to 30.5% during the last four months of 2024.
