Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – The Puerto Vallarta-Santa Barbara Sister Cities Committee is set to host ¡Vive la Fiesta!, a vibrant cultural event aimed at raising funds for the construction of a much-needed multipurpose hall in Puerto Vallarta. The event, which promises to be a celebration of Mexican folklore and culture, will take place at the Teatro Vallarta, offering attendees a unique opportunity to enjoy performances by local talent while supporting a noble cause.
The evening will feature an impressive lineup, including the powerful voices of singers Iliann Herenka and José María ‘Chema’ Curiel, the traditional dances of the folkloric group Vallarta Azteca, and the stirring melodies of the Mariachi Internacional de México. The fusion of these diverse elements guarantees a first-class event that will resonate with both locals and visitors.
At a recent press conference, Christian Preciado Cázares, the Director of Tourism and Economic Development, expressed the municipal government’s strong support for the event. He emphasized that the proceeds from ¡Vive la Fiesta! will go directly toward the construction of a new multipurpose hall in the Education colony, a facility designed to serve the needs of the local community. “These events are one hundred percent to help Puerto Vallarta, especially the most vulnerable,” said Preciado Cázares.
Francisco García, President of the Puerto Vallarta-Santa Barbara Sister Cities Committee, shared details about the planned multipurpose hall. The committee, known for its altruistic efforts, aims to build a space that will provide essential services to the people of Vallarta. The hall is expected to host a variety of activities, including health services, work sessions, and receptions for visitors from Santa Barbara as part of the ongoing cultural and friendship exchange between the two cities. García expressed hope that the venue would be operational within two years, noting that “everything we raise will benefit Vallarta itself.”
Tickets for ¡Vive la Fiesta! are now on sale and can be purchased at the Teatro Vallarta box office or by calling 3221032265, 3221418014, and 3222276249.
