Puerto Vallarta Weather Today – June 13, 2026

Puerto Vallarta starts Saturday, June 13, warm, cloudy, and humid, with rain and thunder possible later in the day. Weather feeds checked at 6:32 a.m. local time showed current conditions near 25°C (77°F), with overcast skies and light winds.

The forecast calls for a high near 31°C (87°F) and a low near 25°C (76°F). Humidity is high enough to make the air feel warmer than the thermometer shows, especially before rain cools the streets and hillsides.

Light showers are possible during the morning. The better chance for heavier rain and a thunderstorm comes from late morning through the afternoon, with passing showers still possible into the evening. Rain will not necessarily fall evenly across the city, so conditions in Centro, the Hotel Zone, Marina Vallarta, and the South Shore can differ during the same hour.

The main planning issue is not wind. Regional marine forecasts show light to gentle winds near this section of Mexico’s Pacific coast, but thunderstorms can still bring sudden gusts, reduced visibility, and lightning near the water. Beachgoers should follow posted flags and leave the water when thunder builds. Small-boat tours should confirm conditions with operators before departure and check the SEMAR port-status map if weather deteriorates.

No tropical cyclone advisory was in effect for Puerto Vallarta early Saturday. The National Hurricane Center listed a low-probability Pacific disturbance well southwest of Baja California, not a local storm threat for the bay at publication time.

Drivers should expect slick pavement during showers and possible short-term ponding in low-lying or poorly drained areas if a heavy cell passes over the city. Do not cross flooded streets, arroyos, or river crossings during a downpour. Runoff can also affect water quality near river mouths after heavier rain.

For daily planning, the best time to check the outdoor window is early, before storms develop. Carry rain gear for the afternoon and evening, allow extra time for errands or airport trips during showers, and keep checking updated forecasts because rainy-season conditions can change quickly.
