Why is the Day of the Dead celebrated in Mexico?

The Day of the Dead 2021 holiday dates back long before the arrival of the Spaniards in Mexico, there are indications of the commemoration, at least, for about 3,000 years, in some of the ancient Mexican ethnic groups.
