Beach flag or ocean warning today?

Rough surf remains the main beach concern this Tuesday, October 27, 2026, even with Tropical Storm Vance well offshore.

Today’s weather: Puerto Vallarta’s local forecast calls for showers, a high near 31°C (88°F) and a low around 26°C (79°F). The Navy also warns of heavier showers and thunderstorms across the wider coastal region.

Swimming and currents: With that swell forecast, treat exposed beaches cautiously and ask a lifeguard about surf and rip currents before entering. Follow the flags posted at your beach and any swimming restrictions.
Runoff near river mouths: If showers produce muddy plumes or floating debris, stay out of the affected water, especially around river outlets. Rain runoff can carry pollutants into swimming areas; this is a precaution, not a new water-quality closure announcement.

Peso exchange rate today?
