In his @LUISFELIPE_P Twitter account, the official of the Ministry of the Interior (Segob) explained that the emanation was detected at 07:50 and that the winds dispersed it to the northeast.

Earlier, at 06:36 and 06:40, it presented two-kilometer fumaroles with a low ash content, although the winds dispersed them toward the north-northeast.

In case of ash fall, the unit recommends the population cover nose and mouth with a wet handkerchief or masks, clean eyes and throat with pure water, and use glasses and avoid contact lenses to reduce eye irritation, as well as closing windows or covering them, staying as much as possible inside the house and protecting pets.
