How to use Follows on PVDN

Welcome to 'Follows' by PVDN

A new way to control the news you want to see

‘Follows’ by PVDN enables subscribers to select the locations and topics they wish to receive in their inbox each morning, eliminating the need to receive dozens of stories daily that may not interest them. ‘Follows’ also creates your personal newsfeed in your account, so you can review the news you have chosen without filtering through dozens of categories on PVDN.

Let’s get started on a quick lesson on how to maximize your benefits (and time) with PVDN.

Follow Categories

Categories are locations in Mexico (such as regions, states, or cities) that you can follow. For instance, if you visit the Puerto Vallarta news page, you can follow Puerto Vallarta by clicking the follow button at the top of the page.

Follow Hubs

Hubs are news topics (such as cruises, crime, and civil protection) that you can follow. For instance, if you visit the Puerto Vallarta Airport Hub, you can follow the news that we publish about the Puerto Vallarta Airport by clicking the follow button at the top of the page.

My Account

Visit your Account page (the last menu option) when logged into PVDN. You will see ‘Your News Follows’ as the first button (at the top for mobile users and on the left for web users). Click ‘Your News Follows’ to view the news you are interested in.

Your Follows

On your follow page, you will find the latest stories in the categories and topics you have chosen. You will also find a list of the topics and categories you follow so you can edit the news you are interested in at any time.

Activate Emails

On your follow page, you will find the section titled ‘Email Digest’, where you can manage how often you would like to receive by email the news topics you follow. Never, daily, or weekly.

Follows Email

Once you have followed categories or topics and have activated your email digest settings, you will begin to receive email newsletters with only the news you are interested in—no more scanning long newsletter headlines.
