Actriz Kate del Castillo dice gobierno mexicano quiere destrozarla por el caso Guzmán

La actriz mexicana Kate del Castillo, envuelta en una trama telenovelesca por los contactos que supuestamente mantuvo con el narcotraficante Joaquín “el Chapo” Guzmán, dijo que el Gobierno de su país la quiere “destrozar” y por eso no ha hablado públicamente del asunto.

La semana pasada, la fiscal general de México, Arely Gómez, dijo que existe una averiguación abierta contra la actriz por presuntas operaciones de procedencia ilícita y lavado de dinero y que del Castillo fue citada a declarar.

“No tengo por qué dar explicaciones a la prensa. Que si no hablo es porque mis abogados así me lo aconsejan ya que el gobierno me quiere a fuerza destrozar”, dijo la actriz en un mensaje a la cadena Univisión divulgado el sábado.

Del Castillo fue citada a declarar luego de que el 9 de enero, un día después de la recaptura de Guzmán en su estado natal Sinaloa, la revista Rolling Stone publicara una entrevista del actor Sean Penn en la que del Castillo hizo de nexo entre ambos.

Días después, medios mexicanos divulgaron supuestos mensajes de texto en los que Guzmán parece flechado por la actriz y dialogan sobre la posiblidad de hacer una película sobre la vida del narcotraficante.

En otro diálogo de la actriz con uno de los abogados de Guzmán, conversan sobre la posibilidad de éste invierta en una empresa tequilera de del Castillo, algo que implicaría operaciones con recursos de procedencia ilícita.

Una fuente de la Procuraduría General de la República (PGR, fiscalía federal) consultada por Reuters remitió a recientes entrevistas de Gómez donde señala que la institución respeta la presunción de inocencia de todas las personas que en calidad de testigos o indiciados sean señalados en alguna investigación.
