Hollywood Stars Promote Vidanta World in Nuevo Vallarta, Previews Scheduled for August 1

PUERTO VALLARTA (PVDN) – Hollywood celebrities Catherine Zeta-Jones, Mark Wahlberg, Jaime Camil, and golfer Abraham Ancer are lending their star power to promote the upcoming Vidanta World amusement park in Nuevo Vallarta (recently rebranded as Nuevo Nayarit), which is scheduled to start guided ‘preview’ tours of its attractions on August 1, 2023.

Originally intended to open in 2018 with a Cirque du Soleil theme, the park has now been reimagined and expanded into Vidanta World, described as a “multi-tiered destination of immersive entertainment and vacation experiences.” The theme park will span hundreds of acres and promises countless unique experiences for its visitors.

The ongoing development, representing an investment of $1.4bn, is set to include several park concepts with the first phase slated for completion later this year. Recent progress includes the arrival and installation of several roller coasters that will form part of the myriad attractions at Vidanta World.

Cirque du Soleil will still be part of the extravaganza, with a permanent dinner theatre ready to host shows known as Cirque du Soleil JOYÀ. Other attractions include a parachute-type ride, a giant Ferris wheel with gondolas that slide along rails like a roller coaster, and a spectacle of dancing fountains with lights in the middle of a lagoon.

A sky gondola, already in operation, will transport visitors from the nearby Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta resort to various park attractions under development. These include the ‘Jungala Aqua Experience’ water park and a nature theme park located next to the Ameca River, among other exciting features.

The promotional campaign video features Zeta-Jones, Wahlberg, Camil, and Ancer exploring the upcoming attractions of Vidanta World and the resort’s many other offerings. These include golf greens, swimming pools, fine dining, and luxury accommodations that have built Vidanta’s reputation.

Ivan Chavez, Executive Vice President of Grupo Vidanta, expressed his excitement over the partnership with the celebrity figures. He said, “Vidanta is proud to partner with world-famous talent to tell the story of how we are continuously working to offer our guests the most extraordinary and celebrity-approved experiences.”

According to Vallarta en Línea, the ‘preview’ tours of the Vidanta World amusement park will run from August 1 to November 12, 2023. Prospective visitors will need to make reservations due to limited availability, and admission will come at a cost. As anticipation mounts, Vidanta World is set to redefine luxury entertainment travel in Mexico.
