Homicides increase during the first part of 2017 in Jalisco

Malicious homicides in Jalisco increased in the first five months of this year, compared to the previous three years, according to data published by the Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System.

The statistics indicate that from January to May, in this year 2017, there was 509 registered homicides in the state, compared to 471 in 2016; 370 in 2015; 397 in 2014, during the same period.

In the breakdown by month, the figures indicate that in May there was an increase with 111 homicides, compared to 106 in April; 98 in March; 93 in February and 101 in . . .
