Mexico strongly condemns North Korea nuclear test

The Government of Mexico, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, deplores and condemns in the strongest terms the nuclear test carried out by North Korea.

"This nuclear test, the sixth that North Korea has carried out, is an irresponsible, hostile and anti-international call for North Korea to cease its military nuclear program, as well as the development of ballistic missiles," read a statement from the Mexican Foreign Ministry.

"North Korea's nuclear tests are unacceptable, a threat to international peace and security, are a flagrant violation of international law and multiple mandatory UN Security Council resolutions, and hamper multilateral . . .
