168 students in Mexico receive scholarship to study in USA

Through the program SEP-Bécalos-Santander Universities, the Ministry of Public Education awarded 168 scholarships to students from 17 Technological and Polytechnic Universities in Mexico for US studies.

The selected students will attend three different community college locations (Alamo College District, Pima Community College and Suny Broome Community College) in the United States, for up to 22 weeks.

In a statement, the SEP explained that the beneficiaries, who will be able to travel between August and December, will receive a scholarship of up to $190,260 pesos to cover accommodation, transportation, maintenance, medical insurance and tuition expenses.
