Puerto Vallarta, Mexico — In a significant stride toward enhancing animal welfare, the Government of Munguía inaugurated its first Animal Care Clinic on Tuesday. The facility aims to provide a variety of services, including vaccinations and sterilizations, to improve the health and well-being of animals in the region.
President Luis Munguía led the opening ceremony, acknowledging the relentless efforts of civil associations and advocacy groups that have long championed animal protection in Puerto Vallarta. “This clinic is a reality today thanks to those who have fought tirelessly for animal welfare,” he remarked.
Strategically located within the Animal Welfare facilities at the Linear Park along the banks of the Pitillal River, the clinic is set to become a central hub for animal care services. The accessible location is expected to encourage more community members to take advantage of the resources offered.
In addition to the new clinic, Mayor Munguía announced plans to establish an Animal Hospital in the near future. “We are working diligently to ensure that Puerto Vallarta will soon have an Animal Hospital, expanding our capacity to care for animals in need,” he stated.
The inauguration of the Animal Care Clinic marks a milestone in the city’s ongoing commitment to animal rights and responsible pet ownership. Local organizations and residents have welcomed the initiative, expressing optimism about its potential positive impact on the community.
For more information about the services offered or to schedule an appointment, residents are encouraged to visit the clinic at the Linear Park’s Animal Welfare facilities.
