Upcoming Development Plans

Looking ahead, GAP is set to unveil its Master Development Plan (PMD) for the period 2025-2029, which will outline major investment and infrastructure projects for airports in Jalisco, including Puerto Vallarta International Airport and Guadalajara International Airport.

The announcement, scheduled for Tuesday, February 11, will take place at Expo Guadalajara. Raúl Revuelta Musalem, GAP’s General Director, is expected to lead the event and provide critical insights into the development strategy.

According to preliminary reports, approximately five billion pesos may be earmarked for upgrades and expansions at Puerto Vallarta International Airport. These investments are anticipated to further enhance the airport’s capacity and service quality, catering to the growing demand for air travel in the region.

As Puerto Vallarta continues to thrive as a premier tourist destination, the strong performance of its airport and the anticipated infrastructure investments reflect the ongoing commitment to supporting tourism and economic development in the region.
