Four Earthquakes Recorded Off Puerto Vallarta’s Coast

PUERTO VALLARTA, Mexico – Municipal Civil Protection authorities have reported no significant damage or disruptions after four early-morning earthquakes were detected off the coast of Puerto Vallarta.

The first quake, registering a magnitude of 5.2 at a depth of 5 kilometers, occurred at 1:40 a.m. on Monday. It was located approximately 376 kilometers southwest of Puerto Vallarta. Just seven minutes later, a second quake with a magnitude of 4.1 was detected at a depth of 5 kilometers, roughly 374 kilometers southwest of the city.
