Employability and tourism development have registered an increase in Puerto Vallarta.
In terms of employment, Puerto Vallarta has grown 13 percent from June 2015 to the same month in 2018, from 59,489 insured workers to 67,520, according to figures from the Institute of Statistical and Geographic Information of Jalisco (IIEG ).
The jobs were generated mainly in the hotel industry, which has reported favorable numbers in occupancy, income tax collection (ISH) and economic impact.
