Puerto Vallarta Prepares 18 Temporary Shelters for Pacific Hurricane Season

PUERTO VALLARTA (PVDN) - As the hurricane season picks up, authorities in Puerto Vallarta are leaving no stone unturned to safeguard local residents and visitors. Up to 18 temporary shelters will be set up across the city, according to the Municipal Civil Protection Council, in a bid to protect those at risk during potential hurricane events.

These shelters will be located in various neighborhoods and made available as and when the need arises, ensuring that the most vulnerable populations have safe havens close to their homes. The Municipal Civil Protection Council has signed agreements with multiple educational institutions . . .
