San Miguel y sus Sabores will return to Parque Benito Juárez from June 12 to 14, bringing 35 food exhibitors, live music, workshops, and cultural activities to the historic center.
The event runs from noon to 7 p.m. each day at Parque Benito Juárez on Cañadita de los Aguacates. The city’s official tourism calendar lists the event from June 12 to 14.
A June 9 event preview states that the 2026 edition will feature 35 food exhibitors. It also lists dishes priced at up to 70 pesos, a low ceiling in a city known for destination dining.
The calendar does not list a ticket sale. Food and drinks are expected to be paid separately.
Food, music, and local producers
The festival is built around San Miguel’s local food scene. It combines small plates, live entertainment, workshops, and cultural activities in one of the city’s most popular public parks.
Parque Benito Juárez sits south of the main garden area. It is often used for weekend walks, outdoor events, and community gatherings.
During the festival, extra foot traffic is likely around Cañadita de los Aguacates and nearby historic-center streets. Afternoon hours may be the busiest window.
A place on the city’s event calendar
City officials had already placed San Miguel y sus Sabores on the municipality’s 2026 events calendar. That calendar framed gastronomy and wine events as part of a broader effort to keep tourism active year-round.
At that April presentation, Tourism and Economic Development Director Tania Castillo de la Peña said one goal was “supporting local talent.” She described artisans and producers as a core strength of San Miguel.
The festival fits a broader San Miguel food tourism plan that has leaned on restaurants, producers, and events outside major holiday weekends.
