Mexico predicts four to six hurricane landfalls in 2019

The Government of Mexico predicted on Wednesday that four to six cyclones out of a total of 33 expected to be formed in the Pacific (19) and Atlantic (14) oceans, will make landfall in Mexico.

"The forecast indicates that 33 systems will be presented, 6 above the historical average," said the head of the National Water Commission (Conagua), Blanca Jimenez Cisneros in Ixtapa Zihuatanejo on the coast of the Mexican state of Guerrero.

"It is very probable, that of these tropical cyclones, 4 to 6 impact our country," said the Mexican official.
