SEMARNAT approves 261-hectare clearing for Mayan Train freight terminal

In July, Mexico’s Environment Ministry quietly green-lit a plan to clear 261 hectares of jungle south of Cancún International Airport to build what officials describe as the system’s largest Mayan Train freight terminal.
