Jalisco rules out reopening schools this year

Despite the fact that the federal Secretary of Public Education, Esteban Moctezuma, indicated that classes would resume in Mexico on June 1, in Jalisco the Governor confirmed that this will not be the case, but that they will finish this school year virtually.

"In this country, there are no conditions to return to classes," he said after a meeting with the Expanded Health Cabinet and with the participation of Ricardo Villanueva, rector general of the University of Guadalajara (UdeG).
