Dengue still on the rise in Puerto Vallarta

Dengue cases are on the rise and until the second week of August, there were 1, 204 reported cases and two deaths.

Of these cases, 924 are classic and 280 hemorrhagic, in addition to two deaths, a 60-year-old man and an 82-year-old woman from Guadalajara and Zapopan were reported by the government.

According to the Jalisco Ministry of Health, both deaths were due to serotype 2 of the dengue virus and were reported by the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS). They noted that both patients already had diseases such as diabetes mellitus, kidney failure, and high . . .
