Doctors from Mexico Head to West Africa to Help Fight Ebola

In a press release, the Mexican Foreign Relations Secretariat indicated that the government of Cuba agreed to send a joint delegation of health professionals, including infectologists, epidemiologist and nurses, to the region, particularly Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea.

Mexico will participate in the program by sending a specialized team, with the financial support of the WHO. The Ministry pointed out that the WHO will ensure that the team is equipped with the most up-to-date international standards in technology to deal with the ebola virus.
