Google to donate $2.1 million dollars to Mexico education

Through the UNETE organization, Google.org will donate $2.1 million dollars to incorporate the use of technology in Mexican classrooms, in order to give to the teachers, the access to new contents and practices for their teaching .

According to a statement, the intervention model contemplates the equipping of classrooms and the teachers training with educational content in Spanish, all aligned to the current curricula.

The offline platform to be used in the program will be Kolibri, which is expected to reach 750 teachers and more than 24 thousand students in 59 primary schools in ten states of the Republic . . .
