Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – In response to recent conflicts between military authorities and armed civilians in Puerto Vallarta, near El Ranchito and La Desembocada, the Citizen Security and Municipal Highway Police Station in Puerto Vallarta has initiated heightened patrols throughout the municipality. Under the direction of Rigoberto Flores Parra, the officers have been instructed to maintain a visible presence across the municipality and to promptly assist any requests for support from the armed forces.
