Civil Protections have issued evacuations of the Getzemani and Las Juntas colonies due to overflowing of the Ameca river. At least one person has been rescued by boat trapped on top of their home.
A weather front has drenched much of the State of Jalisco with four days of rain, the eastern part of the state and the capital city of Guadalajara have been hit the worst with rains over the weekend.
Monday Civil Protection began pumping out excess water from area stream and rivers, along with cleaning out storm drains to help prevent flooding.
