Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – The municipal government of Puerto Vallarta has demonstrated its unwavering commitment to public safety with the recent investment of almost 5 million pesos into the Civil Protection and Fire Department. The tangible result of this investment is the delivery of five state-of-the-art pick-up type vans that will play a pivotal role in serving the citizens of Vallarta.
These vehicles, representing a substantial total investment of 4 million 986 thousand 713.99 pesos, were officially handed over in a ceremony presided over by Mayor Luis Alberto Michel Rodríguez and the director of Civil Protection, Gerardo Alonso Castillón Andrade.
Director Castillón Andrade expressed his gratitude for the significant support that has been extended to his department, noting, “We have never had support like this before.” The new vans represent a significant enhancement to the department’s capacity to respond effectively to emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of the local community and its visitors.
