Jalisco Confirms Two Additional Dengue Cases in Puerto Vallarta

PUERTO VALLARTA (PVDN) - The Jalisco Health Secretariat confirmed two new cases of dengue in the popular tourist destination of Puerto Vallarta on Wednesday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the region to eight this year.

Jaime Álvarez Zayas, head of the Eighth Sanitary Region based in Puerto Vallarta, disclosed that so far this year, "we have had two confirmed cases in Puerto Vallarta, which are in addition to another confirmed case in the Tomatlán municipality."

The additional cases in Puerto Vallarta are in Marina Vallarta and Ixtapa, respectively, according to Dr. Álvarez . . .
