Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco – In response to the detection of metapneumovirus in Mexico, authorities in Jalisco have strengthened epidemiological surveillance, particularly at Puerto Vallarta’s airport and maritime port, according to Dr. Jaime Álvarez Zayas, head of the Eighth Health Region of the Jalisco Ministry of Health.
